The authors present a very explicit closed formula for the weight multiplicities of a complex finite-dimensional irreducible representation of the simple Lie group \(\text{Sp}_2(\mathbb{C})\). The proof relies on the Howe duality theorem and an explicit decomposition of the tensor product of fundamental representations of \(\text{Sp}_2(\mathbb{C})\).
