The main result is a formula for the Mabuki energy on the orbits of \(\text{SL}(N+ 1)\). One establishes a characterisation of the Futaki invariant and a new proof of Lu's formula on the generalized Futaki invariant of a complete intersection. One gives a general ``adjunction formula with metrics'' and one applies this to prove the formulas for the Aubin-Yau and the Mabuki energy functionals for complete intersection.
