The author considers the Gibbs measure on the one-sided shift dynamical system and determines the quantization dimension function for the image measure supported on a Moran set. A relation between the quantization dimension function and the temperature function of the thermodynamic formalism arising in multifractal analysis is also established. Thus, the relationship between the quantization function \(D_r\) and the temperature function \(\beta(q)\) is the Legendre transform of the \(f(\alpha)\) curve, given in Theorem 3.1. A graphical description can be found in Fig. 1.
