A \(CAT(0)\) group \(G\) may admit more than one boundary. In this paper the authors investigate a question due to Bestvina: Are any two such boundaries of a \(CAT(0)\) group unique up to cell-like equivalence? This notion is weaker than topological equivalence and stronger than shape equivalence inside the category of boundaries of \(CAT(0)\) groups. The authors develop some techniques towards a positive answer and apply these to several examples.
