This paper is mainly concerned with almost periodic solutions of a nonlinear ecological model by using a comparison theorem and a Lyapunov functional. Sufficient conditions are established for the existence and global asymptotic stability of a unique positive almost periodic solution of the model. The obtained results are applied to some competition models with or without feedback controls. An example with numerical simulations is provided to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the main results.
