Some results on fusion frames and g-frames (Q722494)

The author studies some properties of fusion frames and \(g\)-frames in relation to frames. She introduces the notion of upper and lower redundancies of \(g\)-frames and shows that some of the desirable results known about the redundancies on frames and fusion frames carry over \(g\)-frames. She also introduces the notion of excess of \(g\)-frames and shows that some of the properties of excess of frames are valid for \(g\)-frames as well. She provides examples to show that the fusion frames and \(g\)-frames behave differently than frames.
