The authors of the paper present a new graphical tool to visualize data which possess a mixture structure. This new tool, which is named by a \(k\)-boxplot, can be used to visualize the different \(k\) groups of the mixed data which the traditional boxplot is not able to achieve. This new tool is implemented by the authors in the function \textsf{kboxplot} which is made available as part of the \(\mathcal{R}\) package UEM. In the paper, real and simulated data are used to highlight the usefulness of this tool. The problems related with realization of the \(k\)-boxplot tool on \(\mathcal{R}\) are also discussed.
