This paper deals with the \(h\)-\(p\) version of the finite element method (FEM) for two-point BVPs. A superconvergence postprocessing technique is proposed to enhance the \(h\)-\(p\) finite element approximation. Also asymptotically exact a posteriori error estimators based on postprocessig results are presented. Some numerical results are discussed.
