Solutions of the inhomogeneous Cauchy equation (Q732758)

Investigations about the inhomogeneous Cauchy functional equation date back to the 80's, but only few results have been proved concerning the representation of the solutions (if they exist). The authors bring back to life the subject presenting a series of interesting new results giving the form of the solutions of the inhomogeneous Cauchy equation under different conditions on the inhomogeneity.
