Nonlinear parabolic equations obtained by modeling a two phase flow in a heterogeneous porous media are studied in a polygonal subset of \(\mathbb R^d\) \((d\leq3)\). The existence of weak solutions is proved due to using of a finite volume method. Assumptions are found which provide the uniqueness and regularity of a solution.
