The paper deals with subgroups \(G\) of the multiplicative group of a unital Dedekind \(\sigma\)-complete partially ordered linear algebra \(A\) satisfying the property that the set of the elements \(x^2\), where \(x\in G\), is a chain. The author investigates such subgroups \(G\) which are bounded above by some element of \(A\).
