The notion of pseudoconvex spaces introduced here is related to the convex spaces of \textit{H. Komiya} [Fundam. Math. 111, 107-113 (1981; Zbl 0379.46009)]. Some interesting properties of these spaces in connection with Helly's theorem and the minimax theorem are given.
