Let K be a non-archimedean, nontrivial valued complete field which is algebraically closed. Let further B and \(B^ 0\) denote the closed- and open unit ball of K. The authors solve the following problems: 1\(\circ)\) When is an analytic function defined on B or \(B^ 0\) with values in K injective? 2\(\circ)\) When does such a function have fixed points? In each of the two cases necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained.
