Let \(L=\oplus^{7}_{i=1}H_ i\) be the orthogonal decomposition of the simple Lie algebra of type \(D_ 4\) as direct sum of mutually orthogonal Cartan subalgebras. Let \(G=Aut_{OD}(L)\) be the group of automorphisms, preserving this decomposition. It is shown, that if G is absolutely irreducible on L, then \(\forall i,j\exists k\) such that \([H_ i,H_ j]\subseteq H_ k\).
