Triangular UHF algebras (Q756098)

The author classifies a class of triangular UHF algebras. Roughly, a triangular UHF algebra of rank \((p_ n)\) is the inductive limit of the algebras of \(p_ n\times p_ n\) upper triangular matrices where \(p_ m| p_ n\) for \(m\leq n\). To such an algebra, the author assigns a supernatural number which is a sequence of powers of primes. The author proves that two such algebras are isomorphic if and only if they have the same supernatural number.
