This paper contains several results concerning the affine-Kähler geometry of complex hypersurfaces in \({\mathbb{C}}^ n\), a notion introduced in [\textit{K. Nomizu}, the reviewer and the author, Nagoya Math. J. 120, 205-222 (1990; Zbl 0701.53038)]. Hypersurfaces with parallel and symmetric Ricci tensor, as well as those with symmetric Ricci tensor and semiparallel curvature tensor are classified.
