[For part II, cf. the review above (Zbl 0723.01015).] This is a report on the results of José Luis Rubio de Francia obtained between 1985-1987. The author of the paper was then a graduate student of Rubio. The presented results concern singular integrals with rough kernels, maximal functions with continuous parameter, operators related to the method of rotations and the Radon transform.
