This paper deals with the problem how a lower estimate can be given to the number of fixed points for some symplectomorphisms of closed symplectic manifolds. The symplectomorphisms considered are close to periodic ones and homologous to them. Several theorems are proved which give lower estimates to the number of fixed points in terms of the Lefschetz number and of the critical points of some functions.
