The general solution is obtained for free vibration of nonlinearly by deforming ring-and stringer-stiffened cylindrical shells with arbitrary boundary conditions by the step reduction method. It is only necessary to solve a nonlinear algebraic equation. This equation is expressed as analytical form. Its convergence is proven.
