Band matrices with Toeplitz inverses can be characterised by two generating polynomials. The present paper generalizes this result to the complex case introducing a conjugate-Toeplitz matrix. A necessary and sufficient condition is derived for a matrix to have a conjugate-Toeplitz inverse.
