The authors show that the partition of n with at most m parts whose degree (the number of corresponding Young tableaux) is maximal is approximately given by \[ n/m+x_ m^{(m)}(n/m)^{1/2},...,n/m+x_ 1^{(m)}(n/m)^{1/2} \] where \(\{x_ j^{(m)}\}\) are the zeros of the m-th Hermite polynomial.
