On the structure of the conformal covariant n-point functions (Q760510)

For \(n\geq 4\), the conformal covariant n-point functions in quantum field theory depend upon n(n-3)/2 arbitrary functions to be determined from dynamical assumptions. Using a method they have previously described [Rep. Math. Phys. 12, 375 '1977)] the authors determine the general form (without dynamical assumption) of the conformal covariant n-point functions for the basic fields (corresponding to the class xx in agreement with \textit{G. Mack} and \textit{A. Salam} [Ann. Phys. 53, 2014 (1969)]. All their considerations made for any spin and scale dimensions are applied both in Minkowski and Euclidean frames. The explicit form of some four point functions is given.
