The article gives a proof of existence of a unique asymptotic solution in the form of a traveling wave for the model of sorption dynamics under consideration, as well as estimates for the effect of longitudinal diffusion on the shape of the front. Numerical solution methods for the asymptotic problem are considered, and some calculation results are given.
