Sur le rôle de la monodromie entière dans la topologie des singularités (Q761672)

We consider how the monodromy acts on the homology of the Milnor fiber of a complex singularity. This action is more complicated than expected; more precisely we show that, over the integers, this action does not split, in general, as a direct sum of cyclic modules. We also give examples proving that rational monodromy does not determine integral monodromy and that integral monodromy does not determine the topology.
