The authors consider the motion of a classical particle in a static random potential. When the energy of the particle is sufficiently high they proved the motion to be Markovian and obtained Ito's stochastic equations for the motion. When the energy is too small the motion can be non-Markovian but still the stochastic equations of the motion remain valid for small times.
