A representation \(T\) of a topological semigroup \(S\) in a Banach space \(B\) is called almost periodic if the set \(O(x)=\{y: y=T(s)x,\;s\in S\}\) is strongly precompact for any \(x\in B\). The authors study different types (convergent, ergodic, primitive) of such representations. There are some corollaries for linear operators of Banach spaces.
