The author considers an electromagnetic field integral equation to determine the total current distribution on surfaces of antennas. Two techniques to resolve this problem are outlined, i.e., the method of moments (or method of weighted residuals) and the conjugate gradient method. The author presents results of numerical simulations for two test examples using straight-wire scatterers.
