Summary: In this paper, we study the asymptotic behavior of the two-dimensional quasi-geostrophic equations with subcritical dissipation. More precisely, we establish that \(\| \theta (t)\|_{\mathcal{X}^{1-2\alpha}}\) vanishes at infinity.
