Accuracy estimates for sampled-data systems (Q788681)

The article deals with a closed loop dynamical system in which the error signal is processed in a pulse modulator. Pulse-amplitude modulation of the first and the second kind and pulse-width modulation are taken under consideration. The derivative of the input signal and the perturbation signal are assumed to be bounded. The author derives some inequalities from which one can obtain the following parameters: 1. The maximum deviation of the output signal when the input signal is zero and the system is stable. 2. The maximum reproduction error of the input signal. 3. The maximum output surge when the system is operating in the natural-oscillation mode.
