\textit{M. P. do Carmo} and \textit{N. Wallach} [Ann. Math., II. Ser. 93, 43-62 (1971; Zbl 0218.53069)] proved that a minimal immersion of a sphere into a sphere is not rigid in general and they studied the moduli space of such an immersion. The purpose of the paper under review is to make precise investigations of the moduli space in terms of tensors.
