On the cohomology of algebraic K-spectra over finite fields (Q789061)

The purpose of this paper is to determine the mod p cohomology group of the homotopy fiber of \(\phi:bu_{\Lambda}\to bu_{\Lambda}\), where \(bu_{\Lambda}\) is the spectrum which represents (-1)-connected complex K-theory, endowed with coefficients \(\Lambda\). Especially, if \(\phi =1- \psi^ q\), the homotopy fiber is the spectrum representing the algebraic K-theory for a finite field \(F_ q\) localized at p.
