Finite amplitude oscillations of a simple rubber support system (Q790650)

Exact solutions of dynamic problems in hyperelasticity are few. Although not strictly in that class (distributed mass is disregarded; only end- point mass is considered); the exact solutions presented here are very interesting; they involve some known special functions (Heuman's functions) and their generalizations. Also, particular results derived here as corollaries may have distinct practical relevance, and not only because they correct available 'approximations'. The paper may be of value also to people interested in special functions.
