Comparison techniques and the method of lines for a parabolic functional equation (Q792077)

This paper analyses initial-boundary value problems for a class of explicit integro-differential equations, which include an explicit integro-differential equation whose solution always dominates the solution of an implicit integro-differential equation which is a mathematical model for the induction period for the thermal explosion process of a compressible reactive gas in a bounded container. The paper gives many good results by proving some theorems.
