A method for deriving fuzzy relational tableaux from fuzzy exemplifications is put into discussion. For ''p'' and ''q'' being propositions represented by possibility distributions, their composition realized by means of the operator ''\({\mathbb{O}}''\) results in a maximally restricted possibility distribution for p\({\mathbb{O}}q\). A numerical example dealing with the modelling of the ''AND'' operator illustrates the main steps of the proposed inference process.
