This paper deals with some notions of compact nets and compact relations. In Section 2 several properties of compact nets, filters and relations, specially, a characterization of compact nets in regular spaces are presented. In Section 3, the author gives a series of applications: Minimization problems, sufficient optimality conditions, perturbations of optimization problem, and nonlinear analysis.
