On invariant tensors of \(\beta\)-changes of Finsler metrics (Q794281)

In 1972 the reviewer introduced a special class of Finsler metrics, called an (\(\alpha\),\(\beta)\)-metric \(f(\alpha\),\(\beta)\), which is a positively homogeneous function of a Riemannian metric \(\alpha\) and a differential 1-form \(\beta\) [Tensor, New Ser. 24, 29-37 (1972; Zbl 0246.53057)]. Generalizing \(\alpha\) to a Finsler metric L, we get a new Finsler metric \(\bar L=f(L,\beta)\), said to be obtained from L by a \(\beta\)-change. The author is mainly concerned with invariant tensors under \(\beta\)-changes and relations between projective changes and the Randers changes \(\bar L=L+\beta\).
