The author considers Maxwell's equation with a certain nonlinear condition and gives a direct method of constructing explicit solutions of these. In {\S}1 Maxwell's equations are presented in an invariant form with respect to Lorentz transformations and the definition of null electromagnetic fields is given. In {\S}2, using the spinor components of differential 2-forms, Maxwell's equations are rewritten in SL(2,C) invariant form. In {\S}3 the relation between null electromagnetic fields and shear-free null congruences given by \textit{I. Robinson} [J. Math. Phys. 2, 290-291 (1961)] is reviewed in the spinor language. And then he obtains an overdetermined system of differential equations. The main results are in {\S}4 and {\S}5: in {\S}4 the existence of the solutions of the system is proved by showing that the system is a complete system, and in {\S}5 a direct method of constructing all of its solutions is given.
