The paper is concerned with the investigation of algebraic properties of the set of all enumeration operators with identity and the operation of superposition (i.e. of a certain countable semigroup with 1). There are three results; (i) for each \(n\geq 2\) there are countably many bases of this algebra each consisting of exactly n elements, (ii) this algebra is not finitely determined, (iii) it has continually many different maximal subalgebras.
