[For part I, see ibid. 40, No.3, 355-362 (1979; Zbl 0417.93051).] The author studies second- and third-order nonlinear sampled-data systems whose complete region of absolute stability cannot be specified with the aid of a weak frequency inequality. An example shows that Tsypkin's frequency criterion is only a sufficient condition of absolute stability.
