The author proves that every mapping from a subcontinuum of a hereditarily unicoherent continuum X onto the Knaster's indecomposable continuum extends over X. He also proves that every mapping from a subcontinuum of a hereditarily indecomposable continuum onto a pseudoarc extends over X. As a consequence he obtains that the pseudoarc is n- homogeneous.
