The exact density and cumulative distribution functions of the likelihood ratio criterion for testing \textit{D. F. Votaw's} hypothesis \(\bar H_ 1(m)\) [Ann. Math. Stat. 19, 447-473 (1948; Zbl 0033.079)] are derived in terms of G-functions as well as in series form suitable for computations by using inverse Mellin transforms, calculus of residues, psi and generalized zeta functions.
