The article contains a generalization of the theorem of \textit{M. Kinukawa} [J. Anal. Math. 8, 377-406 (1961; Zbl 0097.279)] on conditions for the contraction \(\tilde g\) of Fourier transform \(\hat f\) of \(f\in L_ p({\mathbb{R}})\), 1\(\leq p\leq 2\), and for \(\hat f\), under which the function \(\tilde g\) equals some \(h\in L_ p({\mathbb{R}})\), 1\(\leq p\leq 2\).
