Cone-like resp. cylinder-like frameworks in 3-space are constructed from plane frameworks by displacing the knots along collinear resp. parallel straight lines to at least two different positions for each knot and taking appropriate connecting bars. In [Acta mech. 53, 163-171 (1984; Zbl 0526.51019)] the author has sown that this construction preserves shakiness. The aim of this paper is to prove that we get an infinitesimally rigid framework in space, if the plane base is assumed to be infinitesimally rigid.
