Recently \textit{I. Vaisman} has given a very interesting study on conformal changes of almost contact structures [Lect. Notes Math. 792, 435-443 (1980; Zbl 0431.53030)]. In this paper the authors consider some analogous properties for hyperbolic contact metric structures.
