The author suggests a new approach to numerical integration of the following problem for a stiff differential system \(dy/dx=f(x,y)\), \(y(x_ 0)=y_ 0\), \(y\in R^ s\). Besides, a linear multistep method is split into a predictor-corrector scheme where predictor is implicit. The above splitting enlarges the stability of the method. Numerical results, illustrating the advantages of the suggested approach, are given.
