This paper considers the differential game of pursuit and evasion played in two dimensions in which the players have limited maneuverability. For example, the players may be driving in automobiles. Using the Isaacs--Bellman equation for the game, the author derives the optimal strategies in regions where they are smooth as well as the value function (here defined as the time to capture).
