Two transformation formulas for the generalized multiple hypergeometric function of Srivastava and Daoust (Q798484)

The authors prove two interesting transformation formulas for the generalized Lauricella hypergeometric function \(F^{A:B^ 1;...;B^{(n)}}_{C:D^ 1;...;D^{(n)}}\) defined earlier by the reviewer and \textit{M. C. Daoust} [Indagationes Math. 31, 449-457 (1969; Zbl 0185.298)]. Their results are intended to generalize some earlier hypergeometric transformations [due to \textit{S. P. Chhabra} and \textit{K. C. Rusia}, Jñānābha 9-10, 155-159 (1980; Zbl 0504.33002)] involving the triple hypergeometric series \(F^{(3)}[x,y,z]\) defined by the reviewer [Proc. Cambr. Philos. Soc. 63, 425-429 (1967; Zbl 0152.261)].
