Für das Kollokations- und das Galerkin-Verfahren zur numerischen Lösung von Pseudodifferentialgleichungen auf geschlossenen Kurven in Sobolevräumen werden hinreichende und i.a. auch notwendige Konvergenzbedingungen hergeleitet. Als Ansatzfunktionen werden dabei polynomiale Splines verwendet.
