This paper continues the discussion of the paper by the first author, \textit{E. Wierzbicki} and \textit{Cz. Woźniàk} [see the article reviewed above (Zbl 0551.73007)]. Properties of granular materials are given on the micro- and macro-levels. The a-priori postulates are replaced by an actual geometry of the material at the microscopic level. The relations between the different levels of analysis are bridged by taking the standard part projection. Thus, a macro-deformation function is derived from study of individual grain behavior at the infinitesimal level. I would like to see a confirmation of some experimentally established results by this type of analysis. This is not a criticism but, hopefully, an anticipation of a future result.
