The problem of laminar fluid flow in an asymmetric annular gap has been solved in earlier work [the second author, Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Mekh. Zhidk. Gaza 1966, No.3, 75-79 (1966; Zbl 0159.457)] in an approximation with error difficult to gauge. In the present paper, the problem is solved exactly.
